Notebooks are used to display multiple pages of information in the same physical area. Notebook tabs are used to access the various pages of a note-book. This section provides ideas about how to test notebooks and tabs.

Are the notebook tabs displayed consistently with tabs in other windows or dialogs (top or bottom)?
Are the notebook tabs labeled clearly and consistently with the rest of the program?
Does each notebook tab have a hot key?
Is each notebook tab hot key unique?
Are the general controls for the dialog displayed outside of the notebook page?
Do the notebook tabs lack hints?
